Why Apple Mountain

Your Conference Runs Better Here

Running a conference at a resort instead of a convention center changes how people show up. Attendees stick around between sessions. They network at the pool. They keep talking over dinner. The content lands differently when people are relaxed and present instead of watching the clock so they can fight traffic home.

We have 40,000 square feet of configurable space. That's more than Brasstown Valley and more than double Barnsley Resort. Wi-Fi runs across the full property. A dedicated banquet kitchen means your catering isn't coming from some off-site vendor reheating trays in a van. And because all 96 rooms are on property, your attendees sleep where they meet. No morning commute. No late arrivals. No half-empty afternoon sessions.

The Space

40,000 SF. Configure It However You Need.

The main event hall handles up to 300 standing or 250 theatre-style. Dividable walls let you create multiple breakout rooms from a single ballroom. Need a 200-person general session in the morning and four 50-person workshops in the afternoon? Same space, reconfigured during lunch.

Ground-level access makes load-in simple for equipment and staging. No freight elevators, no loading dock bottlenecks. Drive up and start setting up.

On-Site Lodging

96 Rooms. Everyone Stays Together.

No split room blocks across three hotels. No attendees showing up late because they're driving from 20 minutes away. No one ducking out after the afternoon session because they need to check into a different property. Everyone sleeps and meets in the same place.

Every room is a two-bedroom suite. That means your attendees get real space, not a cramped hotel room with a desk shoved against the wall. Full kitchen, living area, and room to spread out and work between sessions. Group rates available with room block.

Between Sessions

What Your Attendees Do When They're Not in Meetings

This is the difference between a resort conference and a convention center. When the afternoon session ends, your attendees aren't stuck in a hotel hallway or fighting traffic back to their rooms. They're playing 18 holes. They're at the pool or hiking a trail 20 minutes away. They're networking over dinner at the clubhouse instead of scattering across town.

That's when the real conversations happen. The deals get made at the fire pit, not during the PowerPoint. The team bonds over a round of golf, not during the icebreaker exercise.

  • 18-hole golf
  • Pool and hot tub
  • Hiking and waterfalls nearby
  • Wine tasting within 30 min
  • Tennis and fitness center
  • Evening bonfires and stargazing

FAQ

Common Questions

300 for a standing reception, 250 theatre-style, 200 seated banquet. With 96 on-site rooms, groups up to about 180 attendees can all stay on property. For larger groups, we coordinate overflow with nearby accommodations.

Depends on the room block size and event scope. For multi-day conferences with a significant room block, meeting space is typically included. We'll lay this out clearly in your proposal so there are no surprises.

Absolutely. We encourage it. Come see the meeting spaces, walk the property, check out a suite, and have lunch. We'll walk you through everything and answer every question on-site. Virtual tours also available if you can't make it in person.

Standard AV (projector, screen, microphones, sound system, Wi-Fi) is included in all packages. For advanced setups like multi-camera livestreaming, LED walls, or complex staging, we work with a preferred AV partner who knows the rooms inside and out.

Our kitchen handles vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, kosher, and halal requests. Just include dietary needs in your event details and we'll build the menu around them. No one gets a sad plate.

About 90 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL). We can coordinate group shuttle service or recommend car services. Free on-site parking for anyone driving. Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville is about 40 minutes away for private flights.

Cancellation terms are detailed in your event contract. We work to be flexible and fair. Most events require a deposit to hold the date with a sliding scale of refundability based on timing. We'll walk through all of this during the proposal phase.

Yes. Every conference gets a dedicated coordinator who handles room setup, catering timing, AV coordination, and day-of logistics. They know the property and the vendors. On event day, they run the behind-the-scenes stuff so you're not the one chasing down the AV guy.
